*post quarantine* been wanting some Yoshi for the past 3 days but when I come in the evening it's crowded, line out the door, parking lot full. Got off of work early today at 1:30 and 5 minutes after walking in and ordering my food was being brought to the car. Mini hibachi chicken with veggie fried rice and spicy yum yum sauce. Very delicious and enough for two meals. 3.+ ounces of veggies 5.8 ounces of chicken 12 ounces of fried rice I've been craving some hibachi for the past few months but didn't want to go to Benihana's. An employee at Verizon recommended I check this place out a few weeks ago. I past by it every Friday after work. Didn't feel like cooking so I took a gamble. I'm glad I did. Went in on a Friday at 6:30pm, it was one other customer with me. She said she comes all the time and I wouldn't be disappointed. And I am not. I ordered the mini chicken Hibachi substituted the white rice for fried with yum yum sauce. Total came to $13. The wait was about 22minutes it went by because I talked it up with the other customer. This is Detroit so expect what you expect. Food was great and filling. Very fresh and not salty. I'll be back, looking to try the chicken/steak combo. I was lucky to get there before it got crowed by 7pm it was "jumpin". Nice job!
This review is on good only. This was delivered to me so I can't comment on service. Crazy busy work day and we did not have time to go out to eat. So as a group we placed a delivery order from yoshis. This was a recipe for disaster with 8 orders but they got each one correct, down to the extra sauce requests, and omissions!! Great job on that in the middle of lunch. My particular order was a number 6 combo which is chicken and shrimp. This is served over fried or white rice with veggies. This is served with your choice of multiple sauces. Overall my food was good, right temp even for a large delivery order. I only have two cons and they are super small. First my shrimp were a tad over cooked. That didn't stop me from eating them ALL though. Second is the yum yum sauce has some serious kick. This was unexpected as yum yum normally has a sweet taste not spicy. I was able to trade with one of the other 8 orders so no biggie. If you have a sensitivity to spiciness you might want to try a different sauce. Other wise this was really good l. I ordered the mini and it's still a very generous portion. Try them
Good eats last time though the rice was a little undercooked I don't think you should have to pay so much extra for the fried rice. The first time my food was spectacular then the next time the lobster wasn't in the shell and chopped up. It's good food if you can afford it.
